Hawk Great Hawk Wind Indicator

The Great Hawk wind indicator is a larger version of the original Hawk Apparent Wind Indicator designed especially for cruising and racing yachts up to 20m. Witha the vane arm made of the same ultra tough nylon and reference arms of glass filled nylon, they are super rigid and UV protected. The precision balanced vane arm and Hawks 'V' Jewel bearing surface instanly responds to shifts and gusts with only minimal inertia.  The reference arms are easily preset to 55, 60 and 65 degrees or any preferred angle and used for either upwind or downwind angles. A strong 5mm aluminium support rod will take all normal wear and tear but can be bent straight if it is accidentally knocked whilst the mast is being stepped or unstepped. The mast bracket can be mounted horizontally or vertically and one screw secures the Great Hawk to the mast bracket for easy removal. Additionally, the Great Hawk can be bolted to any pre-drilled 8mm holes in the mast head crane using the adaptor (supplied) with nut and bolt.
