The Icom M-94DE (Euro) is the world’s first handheld VHF with a built-in AIS receiver. The upgrade version of the very popular Icom M93D this handportable floating radio also features digital selective calling (DSC) along with GPS capabilities.

The M94DE is the first marine VHF that offers users the capability to receive information broadcasted by other AIS-equipped vessels. The IC-M94DE provides vessel traffic information on its large and easy to read display.

The IC-M94DE is equipped with 6 watts of transmit power which is above the common transmit power of entry-level VHFs. 1 Watt of transmit power is approximate 1 mile of range. Equipped with a BP-306 high capacity 2400 mAh Li-ion battery, the Icom IC M-94D Euro provides 10 hours of operating time while all the features run simultaneously.

Icom’s custom high power capacity speaker delivers a loud class-leading 1500 mW audio output with improved acoustic sound clarity designed for loud maritime environments.

Simple Navigation Function

You can assign up to 50 favourite fishing spots or destinations as waypoints and reach these by using the simplified navigation function guides.

Float’n Flash and MOB Auto Set Functions

In the event of dropping it into the water, the radio floats while the LCD scream keys and rear panel Distress button flash so that you can easily locate and retrieve it from the water. By pressing the distress button while Float’n Flash is working the VHF will transit the MOB distress signal.
