Bird Brand Raw Linseed Oil is a traditional vegetable oil used to nourish and protect green Oak and other hardwoods. A slow drying treatment to aid surface penetration to help prevent splitting or tannin stains. Being non film forming it provides a natural lighter, matt golden colour.
Application is by brush or cloth.
First coats should be thinned with Genuine Turps or White Spirit and excess oil should be ragged off to avoid tackyness.
