The Rutland 1200 model has a very low windspeed start, which means that your Windcharger will effortlessly start generating energy even at the lowest wind flows.
Quiet operation that lets you sleep - the finely designed blade profile ensures that even in the most powerful wind speeds those nearby won’t be disturbed by aerodynamic noise, especially important if you are planning a long-distance cruise – the Rutland 1200 is the quietest Windcharger on the market.
Much more powerful than any other turbine of its diameter range achieving high rotation level on 3, 6, 12 and 15m/s (6,12,23 & 29 knots) wind speeds, giving you the reassurance of always having power for your boating essentials such as navigation instruments and refrigeration.
The Rutland 1200 Windcharger includes a Hybrid MPPT Charger Controller, which intelligently controls the inputs and battery voltage. With a high input capacity, the controller will accept both the Rutland 1200 with up to 20A of solar panels. In addition to the above, the control is also capable of charging two separate battery banks and also features an electronic high wind speed protection system, safe maintenance via a manual shutdown switch for wind and solar inputs and LED indicators of the charge and battery status.
