Selden Halyard Lead Deflector
Selden halyard lead deflector manufactured from chromed bronze kit which includes insulating plate and pop rivets for fixing. This is specifically designed to be used with stainless steel wire halyards as it will prevent the wear of the wire. The "U" contour design makes is simple to retro fit.
The halyard lead will guide the rope into the sheave box and reduce the possibility of wrapping around the foil for headsails reefing system. Allow at least 210mm from the masthead and create and angle between the halyard and the forestay between 5 and 10 degrees.
Available in 2 sizes the small size (Part No 508-159-01) will take a maximum rope dia of 12mm and while the larger one (508-128) will be comfortable with rope or wire diameter of up to 20mm.
