Simrads new range of Autopilot controllers includes the AP48 with a rotary knob as well as the +/- 1 and +/- 10 degree nudge controls. It uses Navicos new advanced Continuum steering technology to increase response and ease of use.
The simple commissioning process includes a dockside set up and sea-trial and with the addition of the Precision 9 compass an automatic compass calibration. It has an inproved stay on course, against wind and tide, feature with its 'No Drift' steering. And as well as automated turn patterns for fishing or diving it has depth contour tracking (with a compatable echosounder on the Nmea2000 network)

Tha Simrad AP48  has Nmea2000 connectivity and is suited to Simrads new low power NAC-2 and high power NAC-3 autopilot computers
