Spinlock Deckvest Vito Hammar Lifejacket 170N

Vito is the latest Spinlock inflatable lifejacket harness and is based on design work for the Volvo Ocean Race where all teams were equipped with the same inflatable lifejacket harness which was developed in collaboration with a core group of Volvo offshore sailors. Fundamental to the new design is a lifejacket that crews actually wanted to wear more frequently, with developed custom features.
Unlike previous Deckvests this is a one size fits all jacket with a gradated belt so you can preset the jacket to fit you. The Jacket has both Lume on bladder lights and a Pylon light for maximum night time rescue visibility, a sprayhood which is essential to prevent secondary drowning in rough seas, a soft loop for a tether/safety line which won't damage your boat, attachment points for a chest pack, a lifting loop for recovery purposes and Hammar® Hydrostatic Automatic Inflator. The Hammar® inflation system is activated by water pressure and will not inflate until the cap is approximately 10cm underwater. This system is designed for use in more extreme conditions and extended offshore sailing. The benefit of the Hammar® system is that the jacket cannot accidentally inflate from being wet with rain and sea spray.The unit has a single indicator to show if armed.
