TruDesign Composite Load Bearing Collars

TruDesign Load Bearing Collars are the ideal choice for all your marine underwater applications and they are designed for use with trudesign skin fittings and ball valves. Unlike other metals which were more preferred back in the days such as bronze they are moulded from a glass-reinforced Nylon composite and will outperform any other marine metals used underwater.

By using the TruDesign Load Bearing Collars your entire assembly will comply with ABYC H-27 and will also provide greater strength and durability. Having a load bearing collar fitted with your skin fitting, ball valve or hose tail assembly it will withstand a 227kg static force applied to the hose tail end and assembly for a minimum of 30 seconds which is a requirement for compliance with ABYC H-27 regulation.
