Garmin Chirp Sonar gives clear images of what is beneath your boat both the fish and the bottom and using ultrascroll it will display fish targets at higher hull speeds. The Fish symbol ID helps identify targets and the autogain minimizes screen clutter it also records the water temperature which can be displayed in a graph.
The GPS is highly sensitive and allows you to mark way points for future reference and to show your track and speed so you know you are trolling at the desired speed.
Garmin Quickdraw Contours mapping software creates HD maps with 1 foot contour lines while you fish allowing you to have even more detailed knowledge. The Plus 4 can store up to 2 million acres of contour maps.
